by Jason Collver on November 12, 2012

Thomas Perez, the Assistant Attorney General and head of the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, will speak Thursday, Nov. 15, beginning at 7 p.m. in University Center Auditorium as part of the University’s Civility and Diversity Program.

Additionally, members of the law school community are invited to a reception for Perez on Thursday beginning at 4:45 in the Faculty Lounge. Perez will make brief remarks and answer questions during the reception. This is a great opportunity to meet the head of the DOJ Civil Rights Division and learn more about DOJ’s current initiatives on civil rights, voting rights, education and tips on pursuing careers at the Department of Justice.
