LawMeets team wins Best Draft, places 3rd overall at nationals

P1050578Following their regional win in March, the LawMeets team received top honors in the drafting category, bringing home the award for best draft, and placed third overall in the National Transactional LawMeets Competition at Sullivan and Cromwell’s New York City office on April 3 and 4.

The National Transactional LawMeet is a moot court experience for students interested in transactional practice. This year’s team was coached by Professor Brian Krumm and consisted of Brooke Baird, Elizabeth Clippard, Michael Crowder, Michael Crum, Ryan Franklin, Todd Skelton, and Alex Williams. Representing the team at the national level were Baird, Clippard, Crum, and Franklin, with Baird and Crum negotiating on behalf of the team.
